2017 Porsche Golf Cup Great Britain qualifying round

On Wednesday 21 June Porsche Centre Leeds hosted the annual Porsche Golf Cup Great Britain qualifying round for customers and guests at the Bradford Golf Club in Hawksworth. Nestled near the hamlet of Hawksworth and set in tranquil countryside, this course is listed as one of the Top 10 places to play in Yorkshire and is home to the Hawksworth Trophy, a prestigious 36-hole strokeplay competition, which sees leading amateur golfers from the north of England play for what is regarded as one of the major competitions in the north.

The day brought together Porsche owners and enthusiasts for a fantastic round of top quality golf in a relaxed, friendly and picturesque environment and the ultimate opportunity to compete for a place in this year’s national final at the luxury five star Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen. The final will take place at the award-winning Faldo Course; designed by Sir Nick Faldo, six-time major championship winner, with the course characterised by link-style fairways, perfectly true greens and spectacular views of Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough.

Congratulations to our winner Mark Buckley and runner up Judy Houlbrook on their sterling performance and for qualifying for the national final. We wish you the best of luck and we trust you will have a fantastic time in Ireland.
