It's the power and the passion. It's the pride of owning a Porsche. That's what drew over 450 enthusiasts to Porsche Centre Leeds for an evening of evolution at the start of December.
Attendees were in the front seat for the launch of the new Porsche 911, with an all-new biturbo engine, updated Porsche touchscreen infotainment system and adaptive cruise control.
Guests were not only treated to exclusive tours of the 911 Carrera (Coupé and Cabriolet), 911 Carrera S and 919 Hybrid but were also able to test their performance car knowledge with a Porsche-themed quiz with Porsche prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The celebration of the new 911 was complemented by a selection of canapés served with chilled prosecco and the whole team from Porsche Centre Leeds was on hand to introduce guests to the entire Porsche range as well as the new 911 and a range of classic models.
Phil Presswood, Centre Principal at Porsche Centre Leeds, said: "The launch of the new 911 was incredible, the showroom was buzzing with guests sharing their enthusiasm for this next generation 911. We had guests travelling the length and breadth of the country just for this event. Peter Mahon, General Manager - Operations from Porsche Cars GB, also attended and shared his thoughts and knowledge." Phil also commented that, "I have recently had the privilege of driving the new 911 and Porsche have done it again. They will never cease to amaze me - a car I thought was perfect is now even better!"

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
